Audis S1 - Too fast to race
Date: 17.02.2010 | Category: News | 3 comments
Presented by FIA in 1982, Group B cars were engineered with state of the art technologies and virtually no limit to performance. That could only mean one thing - unlimited power. Manufacturers undoubtedly promised race victories, followed by new possibilities of publicity, taking rally sport to unprecedented levels. Group B rules created some of the fastest, toughest and most tempting rally cars that ever existed. Born in 1982 and banned in 1986, it took them only 4 years to achieve such spectator exaltation, that even 28 years later they are still missed and longed for.
Just a few reasons that led to PROSPEED’S decision to create replica Group B car - the legendary Audi S1 quattro. With combination of authentic appearance, and contemporary technologies, creating that car, we decided to wake up the motorsport interest once again. We are positive that thousands of fans will not remain indifferent at the mere sight of the legend, with unseen interest, and you can be part of the show we are willing to offer.
